Reba I. Traylor 71 Oblong died Tuesday January 30, 2001 at Good Samaritan Hospital

Vincennes, Indiana. She was born in Oblong, IL. on August 23, 1929 and was the daughter of

Leonard Ivan & Effie Irene (Matheny) Kirk. On September 1, 1958 she married Henry G.

Traylor in Sugarland, Texas. Mr. Traylor died February 14, 1998. Reba was a former secretary

at the Oblong First Christian Church, and she was also a reporter for the Oblong Gem. She

was a member of the Oblong First Christian Church. During her years in Houston, Texas she

was active in the P.T.A. for the Grade and Jr. High schools. She held the office of President

twice and Hospitality for four years. Reba was a Life Member of Texas P.T.A. Reba is survived

by her parents Leonard & Effie Kirk; 5 Sons and Daughters-In-Laws Henry Traylor Jr., Randel

& Charlene Bachelor, Ronald & Anita Bachelor, Daniel & Deborah Bachelor and Thomas

Bachelor; 2 Daughters & Sons-In-Laws Rebecca "Becky" & James Bowen and Rhonda & Pat

Stone; 15 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; 3 Brothers & Sisters-In-Laws Keith & Bev

Kirk, Noel & Rose Kirk and Gene & Janet Kirk; 2 Sister & Brothers-In-Laws Dawn & Wayne

Tracy and Karen & Donald Russell; 1 Sister-In-Law Judy Kirk; several nieces & nephews and

a special Daughter-In-Law Candy Gibb. Reba was preceded in death by her Husband and 1

Brother David Kirk.

Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery.
